Why Corruption in the legal system is so pervasive—some thoughts

 In Uncategorized

I have often wondered why the legal system is so corrupt.   I think it starts with the United States Supreme Court.  The court has always had problems from time to time.  During the Civil Rights Movement, the Supreme Court was the only protection one had.  However, with the Ronald Reagan era, the court began to be stacked with “conservatives”  aka sometimes racist who did not believe in the judicial fairness or the law.  Judges had agenda’s and tried to implement those political agendas. They became “gods” to themselves and lost perspective. They had no respect for “stare decisis” or precedent.   The cases also did not represent lives and families to them.  They lost their humanity.  Otherwise how does one destroy and alter records when it means someone could die or you will be destroying someone’s life by your action and subjecting them to wrongful incarceration.  If you have ever been incarcerated, you would not wish this on your worse enemy.  If the person has medical problems this could be a potential death sentence.  I think it begins with the people who enter the profession and their instructors.  How do I explain the actions of the law professors at the University of Houston in concealing my graduation in order to bring false charges against me of “attempt plagerism”  a crime that does not exist and  where there was never a paper of another involved.  Professor Robert Schuwerk  practically crowed when he bragged to me that he had been the one who persuaded the law school to conceal my graduation in order to “do that to you”.  I asked him, “why?”  He did not give a reason. He said, “that was 20 years ago you should not be having problems with that now.”   He alleged ignorance of the consequences of his actions.- default of my student loans, delay in licensure and shame of my family.  My question,  was the elephant in the room that I was a Black female enough to justify his action? Why would Professor Dole, Dean Robert Knauss, Laura Rothstein and Dean Nimmer go along with this.  Laura Rothstein even wrote the State Bar with a lie that I was telling people that I was the “Editor of the Houston Journal of International Law”.  This despite my being listed in the journal as an Associate Editor.  I sued her for defamation of character.  The court ruled that she had absolute immunity and the 10th Amendment barred the suit even though I sued her in her individual capacity.  Professor Rottenburg warned me.  He would say, “Helen you really have the professors going”. They are meeting weekly about you.   They are saying she does not write of sound like a Black.  She is having the big law firms do her work. This was so ridiculous.  The State Bar of Michigan falsified my work history, criminal and credit history.  They argued in federal and state court that they did not have a requirement of truth in their process on their behalf.  Only Sixty Circuit indicated they were wrong.  All higher court supported everything they did. The good old boy system reigns supreme.  There is no ethics on the part of these professionals all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. They support each other no matter how wrong. In fact the Director of the Michigan Bar called me and asked why I had no charge offs or collections.  I told him that I paid my bills.  This was why I had good credit. He responded, “you won’t after this process.  One other person told me that they were going to make sure that I would not be licensed in any state in the U.S.  I shall never forget a letter sent to state Bars by Barbara Botts.  She stated that I should not be licensed bec
