Today I Cried
Today, I cried for the world and America.
Today, I cried for the world and America when I heard people encouraged about bombs exploding. They do not realize that this means people are dying.
I cried for the little children who grow up in a world where bombs explode constantly and they are dying before they experience living.
I cried for the father who lost a wife, twins and seventeen relatives.
I cried for people who are so confused and unfeeling that they think dropping bombs and grabbing women in the p…y means being a guy or is manly.
I cried because we have a President who thinks killing and bombing is winning. He talks about winning wars without realizing this means lots of people dying. He does not realize that no one wins when innocent people die.
I cried because America elected someone who lacked moral fiber and a conscience.
I cried because Republicans were so selfish that they changed the 60 vote rule for Supreme Court justices and put a right wing extremist on the United States Supreme Court.
I cried even more because the Justice elected appears to be a man with a tin heart who loves words and ideas but lacks human feelings. He does not appear to have ever examined where or how he obtained his ideas and whether they are still relevant.
I cried for the poor, Blacks, children, LBGT, religiously different and the militaristic activist of this country.
I cried from the deaths of women and children because of the cuts made to healthcare by the United States.
I cried because I am weary of hearing about bombs and people dying. God is not happy with constant war.
I cried when my friend told me the pipeline was up and working because I know that it is a matter of time before our water supply is permanently contaminated.
Today, I began to pray! I believe more than tears are needed for peace. We must start a chain of prayers for peace in American and all over this world.
