We Must Stop Protecting the Kenneth Prejeans of this world

 In Uncategorized

Kenneth Prejean is a crack addict and burglar.  He does not work for what he wants.  He breaks into homes and cars and steals for his money.  Neighbors and friends report that he has been seen coming and going out of my apartment when I am out of town.  My neighbors report that they were unable to sleep on night because while I was out of town he and a friend moved all of my clothes and possessions from my home.  The next day, he brought back two men and they stole more things.  I reported this to the police and they have not done anything despite witnesses who report seeing him.

I confronted him and he reported that he was looking for jewelry.  He did not have any jewelry in my home.  I confronted him when I say my bedspread, dishes and towels in his home.  He did not deny they were my possessions.  I reported this to the police and they did not do anything.  Neighbors who saw him stealing did not call the police.  This is Black on Black crime and no one cares.  By protecting these criminals, they continue to commit other crimes and expand their victim.  One neighbor told me to just buy more clothes and things.  It is not that simple.  He stole my father’s picture, the dress I wore to my father’s funeral, my graduation dress and suits, things that I had kept from college, my 1975 Neiman Marcus Christmas clothes that I had saved for my book, jewelry that I had been accumulating for some years.  These things like the suit I was sworn in as a lawyer in had memories.  They were not just clothes.  They stole my law books. My camera had three whites and four black views of people burglarizing my home.  I showed them to the police and they did not do anything.  My home has been burglarized thirty times in six years.  All of my legal files have been stolen.  I overheard him telling someone that he wanted $10,000.00 for those legal files.  Where is a crackhead getting legal files and to whom is he selling them.  The police get called and they report burglary is not a priority.  I will not move and destabilize myself again because I have seen people following me and know that per the item brought to and taken from my home that they would track me down and start the burglary all over again.  My point is that Blacks must start reporting the criminal and not protecting them.  Police brutality is real but so are black criminals.  Corrupt police must be rooted out and Black criminals must be stopped.
