KAEPERNICK IS BEING BLACKBALLED FOR HIS POLITICAL VIEWS
Kaepernick is being blackballed for his political views. There are pretexts being given about his playing style, not seeing the field and other things. They are unfair. The San Francisco Forty Niner’s blew up the team beginning with the coach.
There was a chemistry between the player and coach that was undeniable. They went to the superbowl and almost won the first year. They went the the playoff two additional years. Kaepernick also got injured because he no longer had a good offensive line and the defense of the championship year. He did not have any weapons.
One owner stated that he got more complaints and letters about Kaep’s stand than any person or action by a player. He took the wrong perspective. He acted out of fear that he would lose fans. He should have been proactive and supported Kaep. Racism and injustice is wrong and should not be tolerated at any time by anyone. Racism cannot and should not be tolerated. It is a cancer that eats and destroys a system. It is popular with our current President to promote white supremacy, nationalism and separatism based on his embracing Alt-Right groups and their beliefs. Racism is at the core of their beliefs. Someone had to tell the emperor that he did not have on any clothes. People could see who he really was. The refusing to stand up was a speaking out about shootings of innocent persons which should no longer be tolerated. It was a terrible risk. It is why gays stayed in the closet so long. They feared the consequences of their going public.
Martin L. King once said: “When you see something wrong and you remain silent, a little part of you begins to die.” The part that dies is your conscience. It is the part of you that tells you what is right and wrong. It is your moral compass. You never want to lose that part of yourself. Society should never discourage persons standing up against unfairness, racism, inequality and injustice wherever it exists. It may not have been good timing for Kaep and his career. No time is ever a good time. It always the right time when you see something wrong. You must speak up. I have always thought that I could have advanced higher if I had been a different person. I was known as someone who was kind, honest and who would not do anything illegal or unethical. I would never participate in anything to hurt or harm another person. I was not the one to ask to put false statement in a persons file, falsify their records and do things dishonestly. I was always on the side of good. My motto was to do no harm to any person or thing. This cost me politically. I was known as a straight arrow. I was not going to participate in any dishonest schemes. I benefitted. When things were going wrong, I was sent in to clean things up. Sometimes you must stand for something. It is better that you stand for good. I do not really worry about Kaep. He will survive. He deserves to continue to play football. Some team owner should have a conscience and try to do the right thing. Kaep should not continue to be blackballed for speaking out about a wrong in society. His method was not the best. His action or his stand should be applauded. I am going to start a national prayer for someone to select Kaep. He can play. He should be given a chance. I was wrong about Chip. Chip should have been given a chance. His team was beginning to play for him. The Philadelphia team improved with Chip. Chip and Kaep should be given a chance somewhere. We have to begin to fight wrong and unfairness wherever it raises its head. We should encourage the persons who see wrong and point it out at a cost to themselves. We need to stop blackballing persons verbalizing their political point of view.
