JIM CROW IS RETURNING–‘WHITE ONLY’ BREAK ROOM IN SOUTHWEST AIRLINES

The Republicans are making aggressive moves to return Jim Crow Laws of the South to America and it begins with Brett Kavanaugh,the President and “white only” facilities.

Southwest Airlines recently established “white only” break rooms. This is the old Jim Crow and segregationist policy.

Kavanaugh has been appointed to the United States Supreme Court. The intent of the Republicans is to return America to our former time when Blacks could not vote, Americans lacked health care, unions were not powerful, and women did not have the right to choose, etc. He purports to be an originalist with respect to the Constitution. He is eager to put forth this Republican agenda evidenced by his recent vote to deprive Indians on reservations of the vote in North Dakota. The Supreme Court has evicerated the Voting Rights Act, destroyed unions, and are undermining many progressive laws with protect individual rights.

We must remember that we are Americans. If they come for me today, they will come for you today. I am concerned about the attempt of Donald Trump to divide and destroy American values and assert that people who do not agree with you are evil people. He asserts that Democrats are evil. This is hurtful and un-American. This kind of discourse should not be applauded but rebuked.  A union divided cannot stand. We cannot continue to tolerate Trump’s attempts to divide Americans and destroy free speech and Democracy. No President of the United States should be trying to destroy his own country and Democracy. Americans must unite to defeat this cancer on Democracy. We cannot return to Jim Crow. We are more similar than we are different.
