I ADMIRE TOM BRADY, THE MAN

Tom Brady showed me something about Tom Brady, the man, in the way he handled his team especially Antonia Brown.

The rumor mill had it that Antonio Brown had a nervous breakdown. He was clearly out of control despite being considered the best athlete at his position in the NFL. Everyone appeared to wash their hands of him. Brady showed him some compassion and appeared to do more than that. He took him under his wing to keep him under control.  This was something that I had never seen before in football by a quarterback or any other player who is concerned about himself and his family.

During the year, I saw Tom face humiliation from his criticism by his coach that was unprecedented for an athlete of his caliber. He did not fight back in words. He kept going and getting his team and himself to improve. The end result speaks for itself. Tom appears to try to improve in all areas of his life–with his relationship with his wife and children, team, and personally. He is getting a voice.  I like that about him. I admire the Tom Brady that he is becoming.
