I Am Not Beneath the Law
Have you ever wanted to talk to someone about your marriage, life in general or needed help and did not know where to turn? Consult Helen. She is the owner of this company whose focus is on consultation life coaching. Her goal was to write and publish her book about her life experience and her work as an attorney in Texas. She is deeply concerned about abolishing the death penalty, wrongful convictions. The book is now published and is entitled, I Am Not Beneath the Law. She describes her research and how she discovered corruption in the judicial system that included both Supreme Courts in Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District, 5th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Her pleadings were altered and destroyed in all of these courts. Blacks and the poor do not get meaningful appeals in America. The Constitution for the State and the United States is not applied to their cases because of racism in America.
I have forty years as a social worker, marriage counselor and family therapist, hospital administrator and more than twenty years as a drug counselor. I interned at the 14th Court of Appeals and was a law clerk for the late U. S. District Judge Hugh Gibson. I have a Master’s in Social Work with training in family therapy, administration, Planning and Program Evaluation.
I have a story to tell about my experience in the judicial system I think people will want to hear it. If they can do what they did to me an officer of the court, they (the government) can do it to anyone. Helen is a survivor as a single parent of a chronically ill child, injustice and discrimination in the educational system and cancer. Her message is “never give up, God loves you and you are too precious to lose.” She also lives by two concepts: pay it forward and “Give me a fish and I will eat for a day, teach me to fish and I will eat for a lifetime.”
Her story is one of survival and hope.
